Film Team: Great impact among the villagers are made through this team. Films like 'Dayasagar' (The life history of Jesus in Hindi), 'Jesus' etc has screened and very good response has received from the people. The film teams are playing an important role in the ministry. Those who have not yet heard about Jesus are being drawn to the Lord by these films. There are 18 Film Teams working, most of the teams are equipped with a jeep, and other equipments like the projector, film tapes or LCD projectors and VCDs, screen etc. The film team helps to convey the Gospel to the people more meaningfully. On an average more than 3.4 lakh people watch Jesus Films every year. These teams are encouraged to screen on an average of 20 shows every month.
Follow-up: After every film show, we lead the people to accept Christ and they ministered immediately. A simple follow-up card also distributed after the show and many fill up the cards. They are systematically followed up through Bible Correspondence Course (BCC), more than 30000 contacts are there with the BCC, and more than 1000 people are presently undergoing postal bible correspondence course. This is strategic to enter into villages where follow-up is not possible by a person personally visiting.
These huge number of contacts are also being contacted through the automated follow-up method of GEMS where an robust computer program facilitated the follow-up process.
Discipleship through Film Shows: From 2007, we are encouraging the teams to use discipleship films to consolidate the Church and the new believers. This is helpful to teach people with biblical truth and helps them to mature in their faith.
