Children Homes

VISKIT is the home that helps them to achieve social approval and bring them out of their uncivilized life style and also fulfills their needs. They are able to see remarkable changes in them and they stand as testimonies for the transformed life in Christ. 
 

Most of the children of Bihar are engaged as child labourers. These children are deprived of the privileges of their childhood that a normal child would enjoy in this world. "Sishu Kalyan Kendra" is the Home through which these children are taken care. Children who are employed in the nearby quarries for a very meager amount are accommodated in this home and given special care to develop self-reliance, and to enjoy a decent living as that of a normal child. They are protected from further exploitation. The maintenance of these children are done under self-supporting schemes. At present we have 230 children.

 

It is a Home exclusively meant for the children of their missionaries / workers and they are provided with free education in our GEMS English Medium School, along with food and accommodation, they are also given a special gift on every Christmas Day. They now have around 35 children availing this facility.
 

It is a Home exclusively meant for children of their believers who very poor and are unable to provide
education to their children. They are taken care in this Home providing them with free education through GEMS English Medium School and also with food, accommodation and clothing and a dress for every Christmas and at special occasions.

 

They have four homes to take care of orphan children. About 200 children are being taken care in these homes. They are happy to share that some of these children who had grown in their homes are now working as Headmasters & Teachers in the DCCs and three girls have passed their studies at a Bible College, while few more have gone for higher studies in Bible Colleges in various places. Children who are staying in the home at Sikaria are given free education through our GEMS English Medium School. At present twenty orphan children are receiving educations at their English medium school.

 

It is a Home exclusively meant for the children of the staff working in the Day Care Centers. This home provides free accommodation, education & food for those children and it is planned to accommodate 60 children.

 

Bihar has a number of tribal groups spread out in the state. They have picked 65 children from the URAON, KARWAR and other tribal belts of the Rohtas Hills region. This hill region is notorious and known for its anti-social and criminal activities. The minds of these children are corrupted and cruelty is their slogan. "

 

This is a home meant for the lodging of the missionary kids who study in the school
