GEMS STORM (STudents OutReach Ministries)
STORM is the youth / student wing of GEMS reaching the youth and the student community. We have regular prayer cells and bible studies going on in different colleges. It also encourages committed students to be involved in ministry by giving portfolios, help and equip them to carry out. The cream of this lot was selected and special leadership training is given. By doing so leaders are made and STORM continues to help them to reach their own.
The three-fold vision of GEMS STORM is as follows.
a. To win the students of North India with an objective of expecting a revolution and reformation in the socio-economic strata, political leadership and Governmental structure (today's students are tomorrow's leaders).
b. Reaching the educated of North India by reaching the students of North India (students of every town/village represent all the language speaking people group).
c. Reaching the closed countries and Buddhism dominated countries by reaching the students of North India and making them disciples for the Lord.
With this motivating vision the Lord enabled us to establish students counseling centers in 10 major cities of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkand. Patna being the capital city of Bihar has around 95,000 college students staying and studying in this city alone. Retreats and camps to evangelize and to make disciples are conducted and the students who pass through their discipleship and leadership level will definitely have mighty influence in their society in evangelizing thousands.
